The Great American Snuff Film
In 1998, serial killer William Allen Grone was convicted of 13 felonies including rape, torture and murder. While searching his home, investigators found evidence linking him to the disappearance of several people dating back to March of 1995. The evidence gathered included Grone's journal and a canister containing over two minutes of Super 8 film. Grone's journal refers to the footage as "The Great American Snuff Film".
