It all starts when Dr. David Krane is unsuccessfully framed for his wife's murder. An outraged Krane attempts to find the real culprit with the help of a new drug which allows him to experience the memories of other people as if they were his own. As he nears the truth, the injections begin to have adverse effects. Furthermore, the doctor's history of alcoholism, current career crisis, and the involvement of police officers in the murder are working against him, possibly preventing Dr. Crane from ever learning what really happened. All he can do is face the challenge of overcoming these obstacles before his time runs out.
